The Singers of CODA Chorus

In recent years our members have come from local towns including Augusta, Farmingdale, Fayette, Gardiner, Hallowell, Leeds, Lewiston, Litchfield, Manchester, Monmouth, Mount Vernon, Palermo, Pittston, Readfield, Sidney, Vienna, Wales, Wayne, and Winthrop.

Stay tuned for a list of those singing in the fall... we hope you will be one of them!

There are no auditions for membership.

Most of the music sung by the choir is in four parts (Soprano/Alto/Tenor/ Bass), but sometimes these parts are divided (Firsts & Seconds), and sometimes other configurations are used (unison, two-part, or Soprano/Alto/Baritone)

Vocal soloists are usually selected from within the choir. Solos are of varying length, so singers new to solo work can get some experience.

Many of our singers also play instruments in our concerts, for example:

Alfred Lund & Ed Shepherd, percussion
Jon Bailey & Ruth Bookey, recorders
Pat Bailey, guitar
