CODA Members' Resources

It takes a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure productive rehearsals and successful concerts. There are many types of jobs to do... some are one-time projects, some are ongoing, some require special skills (program layout, for instance), but many do not.

Many hands make light work... please volunteer early and often: contact us!

Some reminders

Choral singing is a team sport... please arrive at rehearsals on time. You are missed when you're absent!

Some people are greatly bothered by scents, so please go light on the perfumes and cologne, especially at concerts where we get so cozy!

We usually use black music folders at the concerts. Get your scores into a folder in alphabetical order at the beginning of the rehearsal period. It's helpful to use a three-hole punch to keep those pesky pieces under control.

The program will be posted here when it is finalized.

Bring a pencil to rehearsal... the printed music doesn't tell you everything you need to know about how to sing a piece. Be ready to write additional interpretive directions from the conductor, and especially to note where NOT to breathe.
